I enjoyed the view we had from our balcony that overlooked the the city, mountains and water. It was a beautiful setting for the sun and a relaxing environment away from the street side bars and clubs.

Found out after our stay that breakfast was included. Just a simple reminder to the guest when they check in would be nice. Although we were never up early enough had we known we may have made those plans.

I stayed with my adult daughter for 11 nights at the Mythos Platanias Apartments and have nothing but good things to say about it. The pool is absolutely lovely, the staff are very pleasant & friendly, the room was one of the best we’ve had in the Greek islands for a long time. There is no shower curtain in the bathroom but it’s perfectly manageable and, until recently, this was the norm in Greece so it didn’t come as a shock to us. The property is a little more than halfway up the hill to the old town of Platanias as opposed to being in the new part along the beach. To us though, this just added to the character of the place but should be borne in mind for the less able to walk. There is ample parking for guests of the venue around the back of the property. We would recommend the Mythos Platanias Apartments as a safe, clean, very relaxing place to stay on the lovely island of Crete & within 12km of Chania Town.

Thanks for the review of Booked.net to reveal that this hotel is on the hill. We took a taxi. The taxi driver overcharged us by using the night code 2 (midnight -am 5:00). The manager said:"all the taxi drivers in Southern Europe are like that." He should protect his clients more in this aspect.

The staff was very kind and friendly. The rooms are very big and comfortable and you can see the sunset. Good pool and excellent breakfast!

very good value for money good staff quiet place not in the main street but very close.

We stayed at this hotel in early April 2012. individual approach of the staff, great breakfast, clean and spacious rooms, terrace + balcony. Highly recommended.
